Solid Ground
When the sands shiftIn the desertThe sun can appearTo be settingMuch closerOr farther away. What is itThat troubles us?Time,orLocation?_______________________The Agony of Light
When light shinesIn a dark place,No matter how lovingly,It discomfortsThose nestled there. The agonyof incompetent kings and queensWho refuse to surrenderIs never-endingDesperation.They will believe anythingAnythingProudlyIn the darkWho refuse Light

i like these, nice to read your xanga words :sunny:
one thing i've noticed regarding the first poem and that i've been allowing my mind to digest is that time and space are illusions, the veil, the forgetting, the realm between sleep and dreaming and how much we navigate through it to have some connection access to both worlds at once. i actually had an experience recently where i skipped the haze between sleep and awake and it was surreal, like a lucid dream.
