Emotions
Emotions are addictive like heroin, and withdrawal is always painful and hard.
Emotions are like a sharp knife, they are great if you have the handle, but not so fun when you hold the blade.
Emotions are like a horse, they are fun to ride, but not so fun when, out of control, they carry you where you don't want to go.
OK. Your turn. . .

Emotions make a poor master, but a good slave.

:goodjob: Those are deep thoughts! I enjoyed them very much, now I have to try to think of some. Glad you're back to posting your thoughts again!
Emotions are like... Supreme Pizzas... made with the good and the bad... and while you could take forever picking off the olives you miss out on enjoying the pizza NOW.
*shrugs*
So much truth here....
I'm glad my emotions are reigned in, that they take me where I want to go (into the presence of God - although my emotions aren't necessary to rest in the presence of God), and they leave me addicted to God, to life, to living, to loving.
