Irony, I wrote.
So many people aspire to be writers. I don't know why. To be a writer is to be misunderstood. The aspirants don't want that. They want to be understood, to communicate, and to be heard. But that is not the fate of those elevated to such high status. Once they have achieved that level, rude schoolboys a hundred years from now will be forced to read their works and write painful papers that only serve to prove that they understood none of it. Seeing such a future, is perhaps why so many artists drink or stick their heads into ovens.
